Exporting the Schedule

Learn how to export your Schedule with all of your Sessions according to dates, departments and activities.

This process requires Admin or Manager access. If you are unable to complete any of the steps, please check with your Admin.

Export Generic Schedule

Need to display the Schedule on a school noticeboard? Or share it with other school staff who aren't users of Clipboard? Or download a spreadsheet that includes session names for budget reasons? Export it! Then print it!

How to export the Generic Schedule:

  1. Go to Schedule

  2. Click on Actions (top right)

  3. Select Export Schedule from the dropdown menu

  4. Select the type Generic and select next

  5. Specify the Date Range, Departments, and Activities you want to include in the export. Then Export

  6. You also have the option to export any Additional Fields attached to Sessions.

Your export will include all data fields in the Session, including Session Feedback and Staff Notes.

Top Tip: Exporting the Schedule makes creating Sessions for the next term or semester easy! Simply export the current Sessions in the Schedule, edit them, and copy-paste them into the 'Create Sessions via Spreadsheet'!

Export Student Schedule

Does your boarding staff member need to know where the students are for pick-up?

Do your class teachers need to see the full schedule for all their students in one place? Do you need to notify classroom teachers that the students have after-school activities each day? Or do you need to simplify pastoral care follow-up?

Export it! Then print it!

How to export the Student Schedule:

  1. Go to Schedule

  2. Click on Actions (top right)

  3. Select Export Schedule from the dropdown menu

  4. Select the type Student Schedule and select next

  5. Specify the Date Range and select either Year Group or Homeroom you want to include in the export. Then Export.

What file type is the Calendar Export?

The Schedule Calendar export is a CSV file. It can be opened with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers for Apple.

How do I present the Schedule on other platforms?

Our open API makes presenting the Schedule on other platforms easy. It enables schools to seamlessly pull information from Clipboard and display it on various platforms. This empowers schools to set up an automatic process of exporting data from Clipboard and utilise it for diverse purposes. By implementing this solution, you can have real-time, up-to-date data presented in a visually appealing manner.
