This process requires either Admin or Manager access. If you are unable to complete any of the steps, please check with your Admin.
In order for Timesheets to be processed by your school’s Finance Department, they will first need to be approved by Managers and signed off by Admins. The approval process is as follows:
Note: If a Manager or Admin User fails to approve and sign off on any timesheets, Finance can override them and process the Timesheets. However, it is recommended that you employ our multi-step approval process for greater accuracy.
After you've reviewed Staff Timesheets, Manager users are required to approve Timesheets for the Staff users within their Activity. If you go to Timesheets, you'll be able to view a list of all the Timesheets for the Activities you manage.
Note: You can only approve Timesheets for a Pay Cycle once it has ended.
To approve Timesheets:
Go to Timesheets
Tick the checkbox in the far-right column of each timesheet you wish to approve. To select all Timesheets at once, tick the checkbox in the top-right corner of the table.
Click Actions or More (depending on your screen size) and choose Approve Selected from the dropdown menu.
To approve individual Timesheets: select the Timesheet, and click Approve.
Alternatively, Managers can bulk Approve Staff Timesheets from the Timesheets landing page. This is simply done by ticking all checkboxes and selecting Approve.
Can I undo Approvals?
Yes, you can. To undo Manager approval, follow these steps:
Go to Timesheets
Check the boxes of the Timesheets you'd like to undo the approval for
Go to Actions or More (depending on your screen size) and select Undo Approval of Selected from the dropdown menu

If you have Users who have not yet finished adding their hours, you can add hours on their behalf and then approve those hours. Alternatively, you can move their Timesheet to the current Pay Cycle for consideration in the next cycle's pay.
