This article contains instructions for scheduling a single Session over multiple days with the same staff, students, teams, time, and location details, such as an overnight excursion.

Updated over a month ago

This process requires Admin or Manager access or for Staff users with Extra Access Options that allow them to create their own Sessions. If you cannot complete any of the steps, please check with your Admin.

To create a Multi-Day Session:

  1. Go to Schedule

  2. Click Create Session and select Create Session (default)*

  3. Fill out the title and select the Activity.

  4. Then check the Multi-day Session box and fill in the start date and end date

  5. Fill out the rest of the Sessions’ details, such as staff, Teams and student details, as well as the location.

  6. The time of the Multi-day Session will also need to be filled out with the Start time being on the first day of the Session and the End time being on the last day of the Session.

  7. You also have the option to repeat the Session. If this is a one-off session, select ‘Does not repeat’.

  8. You can also opt to email staff at 5:00 p.m. the day before and to remind them whether student attendance needs to be recorded.

  9. Once you have filled out all the required fields, click Create and elect to notify staff and students/guardians.

There are fields for the title of the Session, the associated Activity, the date range, staff arrival time, whether the Session repeats, the time, location, Teams, students, staff, staff notes, students & parent notes. There is also a blue Save button.

*In Week view, you can also select and drag a timeframe to create a Multi-day Session. For example, the Schedule below shows that Monday 9:00 am to Friday 2:00 pm has been selected. Once the User releases their mouse on the 2:00 pm block, the Session selection menu captured above will appear.
