In Clipboard, we use the terms Departments, Activities, and Teams. But what do these signify?
Departments are the overarching categories that Activities fall under. Examples include Music, Co-Curricular, or Sport.
Activities are a category that falls within a Department. Examples include Orchestra, Dance, and Netball.
Teams are groups of students that generally attend sessions together. Examples include String Quartet, Ballet, or Senior B Team.
These three categories help you to organise students and to define access for users. With our different user types, you can ensure that a user only has access to the students that they are responsible for.
