This article is intended for Finance Admin users only.
Are you struggling with your Admins and Managers adding Staff to Clipboard without running it by the HR or Finance Team first? Or are they editing Activities without approval from the Head of a Department?
This can happen, so we have a solution that many of our schools use which might assist you in also managing this situation.
Take a look at this screenshot below, the current settings under Schools > Permissions allow any Admin or Manager user to add staff to Clipboard and to change Activities. For a smaller school that might be ok, but in a larger school, it doesn't always work.
If you switch the second and third options to Yes it will:
Only allow Finance to add staff: only Finance Admins will be able to add staff to Clipboard. This will ensure your staff have undertaken the required onboarding process and have the correct employment agreement prior to beginning work at the school.
Only allow Admins to change Activities: this will restrict Manager users from editing Activities.
