Note: If your school uses SSO (Single Sign On) to log in to Clipboard, this generally means you have a school-issued email address and log in via a school-branded page. Your login details will be the same as your school email. If you need to reset your password, please contact your school's IT Department.
Forgotten your password? Or simply wish to change it? Here's how you can update your password in Clipboard.
Your data security is really important! Here are some general rules for creating strong passwords:
It should be easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.
Have a combination of lower-case and upper-case letters.
Have a mixture of letters and numbers.
Include one special character e.g. ! ? @ $
To change your password:
Click on your Initials (top right)
Select Profile from the dropdown menu
Scroll down to the Password section and click Change Password
Fill in your current password for verification, then type your new password and confirm it. Once you're done, click Save.
To reset your password:
App: Admin, Staff and Manager Users
Go to the Clipboard login page at https://go.clipboard.app/login.
If you're automatically signed in, click on your Name (top right corner) and select Log Out from the dropdown menu.
Enter your username and click Let's Go
Click the Forgot Your Password? button under Log In
Enter your email address and click Send Email
You'll then receive an email which includes a link to reset your password
Portal: Guardians and Students:
Go to the Clipboard login page at https://portal.clipboard.app/schoolname.
If you're automatically signed in, click on your Name (top right corner) and select Log Out from the dropdown menu.
Enter your username and click Let's Go
Click the Forgot Your Password? Button under Log In
Enter your email address and click Send Email
You'll then receive an email that includes a link to reset your password
Top Tip: Check your junk or spam folders if you can't see the email in your inbox!
FAQ
How long does a reset password link last?
When a staff member initiates resetting the password for the Clipboard App, the password link lasts three days before it expires. If it has already been three days, please repeat the steps above. Double-check your junk and spam folders for the password link email.
When a student or guardian initiates resetting the password for the Clipboard Portal, the password link, sent via email to the email address registered to their account, lasts one hour before it expires.
