Only IT Admins can set up SSO in Clipboard.

For guardians and students to access the Clipboard Portal (where they can view their personal Calendar and use our Activity Selection module), an SSO login is required. Therefore SSO guardian mapping may need to be configured in Clipboard. No property mapping is needed if your SAML Attribute for your guardians is the same as students.

If property mapping needs to be configured, we recommend using one of the below Property Mapping field options:

In most cases, user.mail is recommended to be used as the SAML Attribute name.

However, Parent SIS ID or Parent External Username will need to be used if the email address for guardian contacts in Clipboard is different than their SSO login email address. This may require you to create a custom SAML Attribute to match these fields.
