Only IT Admins can set up SSO in Clipboard.
Enabling SAML Single Sign-On for users will make logging into Clipboard easier!

Note: Users still need to be added to Clipboard even if they will be using SSO to log in.
Setup in Cloudwork
To setup SSO in Cloudwork:
Select
Single Sign OnthenAdd new Service.
2. In Service List page, search for Custom SAML Service and select it.
3. In New Service Metadata page, enter the details below:
Name
The name could be anything that helps you identify this configuration.
We suggest a name like Clipboard App / Clipboard Portal.
Entity ID
Copy the link next to Metadata URLs.
If you’re setting up for App, choose the App link;
If you are setting up for the Portal, choose the Portal Link.
Paste the link in Cloudworks as Entity ID.
Assertion Consumer Service
Go to Clipboard > Settings > Security > Configure SSO.
Copy the link next to Reply URLs.
If you’re setting up for App, choose the App link;
If you are setting up for the Portal, choose the Portal link.
Paste the link in Cloudworks as Assertion Consumer Service.
NameID Value
Choose Email as value.
Once done, save the configuration.
4. In the Completing SSO Setup page, copy the link under Entity ID (it should end with metadata.php).
Setup in Clipboard
Click the Configure button.
For SSO Enabled, tick App to enable it.For App Metadata Url, paste the link that you have copied from the Completing SSO Setup page.
For Property mapping, the Clipboard field
Emailshould be mapped toname_id.Enter value for Staff Email domains.
Save once done and test the the setup.
Testing SSO
Test signing into the application by visiting the Login URLs from Clipboard's Service Provider card. Note:
We recommend visiting these links in an incognito window or a different browser to test the full sign-in flow.
Please remember that only users in Clipboard's staff section can sign into the App, and only current students and guardians can sign into the Portal.
