Only Admins and Managers can attach Tags to students unless Staff Users have been granted additional access.
Before attaching Tags to students, they first need to be created! Read this article to find out how!
To attach a Tag(s) to a student:
Go to Students
Search for the student you want to Tag by using the Search Bar (top left)
Click on the Student's Name, which will open their Profile
Click on the Tag icon (bottom right) in their Basic Details section. See the image below for an example.
Search for and Select the Tag(s) you want to attach to the student, then click Add Tags.

To attach a Tag(s) to multiple students in a Team:
If you want to simultaneously attach Tags to multiple students, you can do so!
Go to Teams
Use the dropdown menus to select the Activity and Hidden status of the Teams you are searching for
Click on their three dots icon and select Add Tags to Students from the dropdown menu.
Select the students you want to add Tags to, then click Next.
Search for and Select the Tag(s) you want to attach to the student, then click Add Tags.
Notes on Tagging
A student can only have one copy of each Tag attached to them. E.g. if you had a Tag called Player of the Match, and a student was player of the match three weeks in a row, you couldn't give them Player of the Match three times.
You'd be better off creating a set of Tags, for example, Player of the Match Week 1, Player of the Match Week 2, etc.
Students are unable to see any tags added to their profiles.
What's Next?
Once you've attached tags to students, you can:
Filter by Tags in the Students page (left sidebar).
Extract reports containing student Tags, also from the Students page. Click Actions > Export Student Tags.
Enter Team Power View and filter by Tags to search for students to add to Teams.
